Anniversary Committee Leads
40th Anniversary Celebration

In the same meeting, seven sub-committees were formed and members were assigned to each. The functions of each sub-committee and its members are as follows:

1. Program – plot activities for a 40-day celebration, leading to the culmination program on August 2, 2009. The members of this committee are Mr. Rene Llorin and Mr. Brayant Gonzales.
2. Resource Mobilization – identify viable fund-raising activities. The members of this committee include Ms. Nanette Morata, Dr. Gerardito Cruz, Ms. Virgie Pasalo and Mr. Ariston Mitra.
3. Communications and Publications – come up with an anniversary book, new FPOP brochure, web site, e-groups and tri-media affairs. This committee is headed by Mr. Roberto Ador.
4. Awards – determine types of award, set criteria for each, and select the recipients. Its members are Dr. Gerardito Cruz, Mr. Ariston Mitra, Ms. Joanne Alcanar and Ms. Zeny Bien.
5. Advocacy and Volunteer Activities – distribute advocacy materials, inform and mobilize volunteers, and come up with anniversary souvenir items. This committee is composed of Dr. Rolando Talag, Dr. Julio Gamboa, Mr. Rene Llorin and Mr. Brian Asiatico.
6. General Support and Administration – arrange food and accommodation of participants in the various activities that will be held at the National Office. The members of this committee are Dir. Rose Marcelino, Ms. Meriam Lucero, Ms. Maita Villaluna and Mr. Jeff Terrobias.
7. Budget and Finance – prepare budget, determine fund sources, disburse funds and prepare financial reports. The members of this committee are Atty. Miles Raquid-Arroyo and Ms. Maita Villaluna.
